An expandable roll top 30 – 45 L technical skiing / climbing pack.

Named after the Elevator Chute at Club Lake, Kosciuszko National Park.
Roll top with 2 different easy side release buckle closure options, a simple quick over the top option or a 2 sided, colour coded crank down cinching option complimented by a central front to back compression strap that can secure a rope, helmet, tent or jacket.
2 quick access windows through either the horizontal top or vertical side 10 G Aquagard zips with big pull tabs on the sliders for ease of use with cold or gloved hands.
The vertical side zip is covered by a protective panel of UVX40 to protect it from ski edges when carrying A frame.
“A” frame ski carry through the side compression straps or diagonal carry through the adjustable bottom daisy chain loop and a Voile type ski strap (not included) in the opposite top daisy chain.
Compression straps run across zips to pull them together and so don’t pull them apart under stress.
Snowboard carry is on the back panel through the daisy chains with 2 removable horizontal 38 mm webbing compression straps plus a top compression strap for extra stability anchored to the shoulder strap haul loop.
There is a base panel side sleeve for snow stake, tent pole or avi probe retention.
Internal zippered pocket.
2 internal vertical back sleeves made from 420 denier Oxford nylon.
The first sleeve closest to your back houses the pack’s suspension dual density closed cell foam, enclosed in a 420 denier nylon liner that can easily be removed and used as an insulated seat.
The second sleeve can house avi gear, a sleeping mat or hydration bladder.
Dual adjustable daisy chains for ice tool retention, diagonal ski carry or optional modular climbing skin / crampon pouch attachment.
3 large compression straps on each side to crank in for stability while skiing or climbing. This also allows for carrying larger items on the outside when expanded.
2 reinforced vertical haul loops
Removable waist belt built with dual density foam and 2 gear loops.
Dual density foam shoulder straps with daisy chains for sternum strap and equipment attachment like an InReach or GPS and 2 adjustable plus 2 removable hydration hose retainers.
A weather resistant hydration port.
Compatible with the modular, detachable crampon / climbing skin pocket.
Made from very hardwearing, strong and abrasion resistant fabrics, XPac UHWMPE composite UVX40 with an extra layer of burly XPac X50 on the base.
Shoulder straps and waist belt constructed with red XPac VX21.
All seams are double stitched with heavy duty thread and then sewn over with binding tape for bomber construction.
The pack is very weather repellant, the fabrics are waterproof, the zips are water resistant however moisture may creep in through the seams.
