The Whippet beast – a 90 L capacity technical skiing / climbing pack.

Named after the quintessential Blue Mountains climb on the infamous Dog Face.
A 90 L capacity beast made from XPac UHWMPE composite UVX40 fabric with a reinforced base of XPac X50.
This is a really, really big roll top unit we originally built to put in food drops for extended winter ski trips designed to easily carry vermin proof and waterproof canoe barrels full of food, fuel and liquid refreshments.
If you’re carrying big and bulky stuff then the Gigantor might be for you!
Like our other packs the roll top closure can either be made with a single over the top buckle or a 2 sided buckle down cinch system both stabilised by a front to back compression strap.
Dual density foam shoulder straps and removable waist belt.
Thick dense closed cell foam suspension as a frame.
Dual adjustable daisy chains for equipment, ice tool, diagonal ski or snowboard carry.
3 compression straps on each side to stabilise the cargo and allow “A” Frame ski carry.
An internal zippered pocket.
A hydration port.
All seams are at least double stitched with heavy duty thread as well as sewn over with binding tape.
The pack is very weather repellant, the fabrics are waterproof, the zips are also water resistant however moisture may creep in through the seams.
